NEWTON TONY CHURCH OF ENGLAND VOLUNTARY CONTROLLED SCHOOL
Newton Tony School is surrounded by wonderful countryside in one of the most historical parts of Wiltshire, close to Stonehenge. In our successful OFSTED and SIAS (Church) inspections in November 2007, many areas of our school were deemed good. Our facilities have recently been improved with the completion of the atrium, as an entrance hall.
We provide an education where each child is treated as an individual and taught in groups according to ability. We believe that education is about preparing the children for life, and recognising and celebrating their strengths as well as helping them to overcome areas of difficulty. We are committed to teaching in an informative and fun way. Our Forest School area is used for outdoor learning and enriching the curriculum, and we have links with many members of the local community who help run clubs and other activities.
